Energy Efficiency Bonus 90% Building in San Cataldo (CL)

The intervention was carried out on a small late nineteenth-century building located in the heart of San Cataldo (CL), in the Sicilian hinterland.

The building was in a state of total antiquity: it had several widespread degradations on the facade with visible lesions, detachments of large portions of plaster and various contaminants, including mold, drips and smog patina.

In 2021, the building envelope was covered with heat-reflecting skims, without altering the nature of the building itself. The NS67 Rasotherm Natural Lime lime-based skims by Nanosilv srl, 30 mm thick, replaced the old plaster and therefore it was not necessary to modify anything, neither the thresholds nor the friezes of the building.

The pictorial finish, consisting of a nanostructured micro-coating, also containing IR reflective pigments, water-repellent and breathable, is the final layer of the applied KIT.
