PROJECT
Energy efficiency Rizza Hospital - Syracuse
In 1933, INPS built the Rizza Hospital in via Epipoli, initially intended for the treatment of tuberculosis. It is a large architectural complex on two levels surrounded by a park.
In 2018 (prot. n. 5599 of July 3), the favorable opinion of the Superintendency was obtained for energy efficiency interventions with innovative nanotechnological materials from Nanosilv, resulting "compatible with historical-architectural values".
The lime-based Nanosilv Kit was implemented, certified not only from an energy point of view, but also CAM (46.80% recycled material) and with mortars suitable for the restoration of buildings subject to protection.
